Arrived safe and sound as did my bike! I have put it together and am off to explore the outskirts of Kathmandu tomorrow...my test run! Wandering Kathmandu today it strikes me....the traffic is busy and only 20% of the streets are sign posted! (Polly don't tell Mum this!) So setting off early doors to miss the rush tomorrow!
However the Nepalese are very friendly and helpful when your trying to find out where to go.
Today I visisted Durbar Square and saw the Kumari- one of the 6 living goddess in Nepal. As well as this a pigeon pooed on my head, I was blessed by a Sadhu and visited Ashok Vinayak- one of the four most important Ganesh shrines in the valley and good luck for people going on long journeys! So with this combination hopefully I'll be sweet.
From Kathmandu my first stop should be Muggling on Sunday evening!
Namaste
Wow that is amazing. I have been traing that Pigeon for weeks. Didn't think he would make it all the way from Southampton. With nothing more than blond, helmet, sweaty hands to go on he found you!
